Kate was born in Los Angeles but moved to Canada with her family when she was 4 years old. She started playing golf at the age of 13 as a junior member at the University Golf Club, but between the ages of 16 and 22 took some time away from playing golf to concentrate on her music and her schooling. The first thing she did after writing her final exam at the University of British Columbia in the Spring of 2006, was play 9 holes in the pouring rain. She was hooked (again).

Kate joined the Team at Mayfair Lakes in March of 2007 after having worked at the University Golf Club for 8 seasons. She turned professional in August of 2007. Kate is very excited to be a part of the Team at Mayfair Lakes and looks forward to sharing her passion for golf with fellow Team Members, Members and Guests.
